Newtek NDI Firmware Upgrade

The NewTek NDI Firmware Upgrade enables existing SDI or USB PTZ cameras to be upgraded to the NDI network protocol — without hardware replacement. After installation, the camera transmits its video signal fully over the local IP network and is immediately usable in NDI-capable production environments.

NDI (Network Device Interface) by Vizrt/NewTek is the most widely used IP video protocol for professional live productions. It enables the transmission of uncompressed or lightly compressed video over standard Ethernet — without dedicated video cables. With the firmware upgrade, you unlock the full potential of your existing camera investment.

Available for the Following Camera Brands

• PTZOptics — Compatible with SDI and USB models in the PT series
• Panasonic — Compatible with AW-UE series models
• Marshall — Compatible with select CV series models
• Lumens — Compatible with select PTZ models

Requirements and Notes

• Valid camera serial number required
• Installation via the manufacturer's official firmware update process
• After upgrade: camera appears as an NDI source in all NDI-capable tools (vMix, OBS NDI, TriCaster, Wirecast, etc.)
• NDI|HX or Full-NDI depending on camera model — please specify when ordering
