Device control extends to a wide variety of consumer electronics such as Blu-ray players, satellite or cable receivers, game consoles, and virtually any product with infrared (IR) or serial (RS-232) control. Additionally, CORE 1 enables IP control of TVs, Apple TV, Roku, AVRs, and other network-connected devices. It also provides secure wireless Zigbee control for remotes, lights, thermostats, smart locks, and more.

In terms of entertainment, CORE 1 stands out with enhanced audio quality and a second independent zone supported by a digital audio output and an HDMI output.
