For the first time, the XF series features autofocus with eye detection and intelligent head detection and tracking. The integrated touchscreen also allows for focusing on objects or quickly selecting other subjects. The display also serves as a user interface, allowing for numerous functions and settings.
Video and image recordings are easily and seamlessly saved to SD cards. Two card slots allow data to be recorded in simultaneous and multiple formats.
Multiple inputs and outputs, such as 12G-SDI and HDMI, allow for simultaneous image output. The camcorder also features a USB Type-A port for power supply, as well as a UVC (USB Video Class)-capable USB-C port, allowing the XF605 to be easily connected to a computer via plug-and-play.
The existing Ethernet connection allows for perfect streaming over WiFi, with the IP streaming protocols UDP, RTP, RTP+FEC supported.
